Kristen Bell Lands Role On ‘Heroes’
By Chris on Aug 20, 2007 in Tee-Vee
Good news, everyone.
Bell will make her first “Heroes” appearance in October. She’ll play Elle, a character described as a sexy, mysterious young lady who has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.’s past and the future of Claire. Elle will kick off her arc by committing a serious crime, though it’s unclear whether she’s good or bad.
I have to admit I’m disappointed that the Variety piece makes no mention of a “skimpy bikini” in regards to Kristen Bell’s character. Sigh.

Since when are you posting back on here again? I was going to post this this morning…
I’m not as happy about her decision as I want to be. I get why she’d rather do an arc on this show rather than who knows what on an island in Hawaii for who knows how long. But Heroes, even though I blog it and like it, is just SOOOO not Kristen Bell-level. It’s not written all that well and sometimes even more poorly acted, but it is more her generation and could stand the improvement that someone like her could bring.

Yeah, I would have liked to see her on Lost, too. That there’s an ocean increases of the chances of her wearing a skimpy bikini and all. I’m guessing, winding up on Heroes was just a matter of who was willing to pay more money. That’s what it sounds like anyway.
I’m just glad it wasn’t something like Two and a Half Men.

I was going to post this as its own post, but decided to just make it a comment:
Looks like it’s what I said: Heroes is more her generation (she knows some of the peeps) and it’s not a major commitment (like moving to hawaii). But from the interview her character is going to be awesomely bad, so totally looking forward to that. Plus, I was going to watch anyway for David Anders…
